A BS in Business Admin will open many many doors for you. It's not a useless degree at all. It's very BROAD though, so whatever industry you get into after college will be important as you will want to stay in that industry and expand your skill set.
(About me & why my answer carries some weight.... I have 4 yrs of executive Recruiting experience. I'm currently the Internal Recruiter/Trainer at an Atlanta executive recruiting firm)

I hope not, that's what I'll have this spring. However, I have a concentration in Management Information Systems, so I hope that will help!

If Bus Admin is your "major" or you don't have a specific major that you took at least 24 credits in, it seems pretty useless to me. I can't even figure out what kind of job you would be qualified for without a concentration in some area.

It is definately not a useless degree! You could get a management job or even possibly go into HR along with other positions. You just have to research either on the internet or your school if it has a carreer center. Another option is to speak with your counselor and get a list of the jobs you could get with this particular degree. Good luck!

Absolutely not...the advantage of it is that it is a pretty broad major with lots of opportunities in the future. It all depends on what you are passionate about---accounting, marketing, business planning,banking,management,etc....Honestly,it took me a while to find my dream job----it had to be something challenging, related to numbers and finances and people-oriented.So,I picked an FA. Of course, everyone makes their choice....most of my friends became CPAs.
