Do UPS drivers have GPS help with delivery's?
Asked by noelgallagherowns
People who deliver in the UPS, Fedex, and DHL trucks, do they have to memorize towns or do they have GPS installed in the truck to make it easy? If there is no GPS, how hard is it to find your destinations without getting lost every 5 minutes?

Talking to an UPS driver, he said that they are given a map of the area, and as the routes are constant, they pretty much learn the area, as they drive it each day.

He's right, they have maps, I worked there(package handler), and in the morning shift you had to memorize the address numbers and such. I also rode with drivers, and its quite interesting!
