when being promoted to human resource manager,what are some questions i should ask while being trained?

the position is in the health field.i've been with the company for two years but i don't no to much about the human resource department. help me out.

Human resource deals with "men management" of any Enterprise, starting from recruitment to retirement of employees .You should analyze the man power, ensure that proper persons( in qualification and experience) are placed in the hierarchy, provide training and develop internal skills and ensure that all statutory obligations are maintained !!
