Has anyone ever been on a 4 minute interview?
Asked by shanell
It weird, they have you sit down and they tell you about the job description in two minutes . Then for two minutes it's your turn to sell yourself. The interview was conducted by a two person panel. This was for a laborer position that pays well.

was it supposed to only be 4 minutes? I hope they gave you a chance to ask questions.

Yep. Been on one. Absolutely the pits! I heard that Labor Ready was hiring people and i just needed something to tide me over until i could find something better. So i set up an interview at Labor Ready. I get dressed, go in, and wait about 15 minutes. The guy comes out and says he ready to see me for an interview. I walk in, sit down, and he asks me some questions. One of the questions he asked me kinda irriated me. He said, "You have a degree so what are you doing here?" I looked at him and i remember thinking, "Who the fuck are you to be asking me a question like that?" I told him that i was looking for a job to get back on my feet and get my bills paid after being out of work for a month! I told him how much of a people person i am and about my many wonderful talents! But the bastard was so jaded and skeptical that he looked at my degree as a threat! After i told him what i told him, he was like "So this is all you have to tell me about yourself?" Without hesitation, i said "Yes." He then told me "Thanks for your time. This interview is over!" He reached out to shake my hand! I wanted to grab that sumbitch and break it! I issued him a quick "Fuck you" and i left! What a phony azz! That interview was a waste of time and a waste of wear and tear on my good shoes!
