First what to wear. To truly know this you need to know how the VP of Sales usually dresses. Your goal in any interview is to leave the interview without the interviewer knowing what you wore. If you overdress they will notice and if you under dress they will notice. Blues and Greys are usually associated with colors that will help you blend in. You want the VP to notice you and not your clothes.
Next is your personality. This is where the VP decides if you not only can sell yourself but if what your selling is worth having. Most people get this wrong. What does the VP really want. Don't discount that they want someone with a sense of humor, happy demeanor, confident yet humble. Most people prefer humble to arrogant but the VP will most definitely want someone that is confident. So how do you do confident and humble at the same time. Have no doubt you can do the job and feel extremely honored you may get the chance. If you find out what the VP really wants in the person they are hiring and you can convince them you have that. You win. To convince them you have it you will have to not just talk the talk but walk the walk. Be funny, happy, confident, humble, respectful, and quick. Plus anything you find the VP is interested in. A last ditch effort to find out what the VP wants would be to ask them.

Just know the company and their statistics and have a plan that you would like to implement that compliments the existing goals and tools that the company expects.
Be yourself and don't be afraid to ask questions to clarify anything you don't understand as well as expressing your opinion whether it's contradictory or in agreement. I hire people that aren't afraid to express an opinion and back up their ideas. Don't be argumentative, but make sure to have real discussion. This will be your possible boss.
