Does anyone know if a AT&T retail sales associate is a good job?

The pay for a sales position is so so . You can make 30k with salary plus bonus. Where as if you can get yourself a position with a telephone company doing inside sales you can make around 50k your first year. Large amount of phone companies are union... Verizon...AT&T.....QWEST ect...
