What is the average pay rate for an Executive Director for a non profit organization?

I know an Executive Director who works for a non profit homeless youth organization and makes over $133,000. Mind you, the organization struggles for funds on a daily basis. Does this seem right?

The executive director of a mental health non-profit in Baltimore where I used to work made $120,000/year. And one year had the nerve to say that she understood how the residential counselors (who were paid about $8 hourly) felt about not getting a raise because she didn't get one that year either!!

That's a little excessive. My boss makes about $55K.
