I've been wondering, I'm really good at engineering etc, and how much does a mechanical engineer make per year
Asked by Cababble
I intend to be a mechanical engineer with a P.hd, and I wanted to know about how much I would make in a year? British pounds, please.

Best Answer:
How much you make usually depends on the cost of living in the specific area. The other answer said for the Boston area, it was $75K to $100K. In the San Francisco Bay Area, this figure can increase to well over $120K. In addition, if you go into engineering management, this figure can increase significantly. There is a good site called salary.com. I don't know if it has UK figures, but it is reasonable for the US.

A:
you do the exchange rate, but I know where I am, Cambridge Massachusetts USA.. Ph.D engineers are at about 75 to 100K US Dollars per year.
