How can I get a job in the medical or customer service/call center field with a felony (cruelty to children)?
Asked by Kimberly W
I have experience in the medical and call center field. This is the first negative thing on my background but I haven't been to court for this yet. I need to find employers in the Atlanta area that will hire a good person with this obstacle on her background.

You best bet is to start your own company, so you can only answer to yourself and you don't have to worry that an employer will have something to hold over you. Good Luck!

um.....all felonies are a huge hinderance to finding a job...but even when you get someone to listen you have to get past why you have the felony...and cruelty to children's not gonna sit too well with most people....good luck

good luck finding a job. its going to be hard. very hard. shouldve thinked before doing. felony in any matter is not acceptable by all employers. i know, because they walked someone out of training when i was on the call center floor because of that. it was there first week, too. well they were in training, and i was working. they'll also call the cops if u have a warrant after the hire you.
