How do i get into working with animals?

I live in Salford, Greater Manchester, Its like my dream to work with animals. I can't find any animal care courses to enrol on, so now im stuck for another year. Anyone know anything i could do during this year that would help towards a career working with animals?

Talk to vets, zoo keepers, animal breeders. They can probably give you ideas of where you can go for training. Also, I write animal facts for my company's website. In doing my research I have found a lot of wildlife rescue organizations. If you click on a specific animal that you're interested in, at the bottom of the page you'll see references for these places. Go to their websites and contact someone there for help.

Volunteer at your local animal shelter and talk to the people there. They can help you get into some type of animal program.
