Have 5 years of experience as software engineer; Have MBA. Is this enough experience to qualify for CPA?

Although every state have different requirements, but chances are you do not meet the prerequisites for CPA exam.
With MBA, you probably satisfy academic/education requirement. If your experience thus far is in IT, you do not yet satisfy the professional experience requirement.
