Although every state have different requirements, but chances are you do not meet the prerequisites for CPA exam. With MBA, you probably satisfy academic/education requirement. If your experience thus far is in IT, you do not yet satisfy the professional experience requirement. You can find the specific requirements for your state at either of these sites: http://www.cpa-exam.org/ http://www.startheregoplaces.com/skillset/cpaexam/examrequirements/?SSID=A1833D1B31BE45FA87F61330DFECE790 Best wishes.

Definitely this qualification will be very much useful to implement the IT systems for corporate financial planning !! CPA ,One of the world’s leading licensing examinations serves to protect the public interest by helping to ensure that only qualified individuals become licensed as Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).
