I work at a grocery store as a bagger what can I put on my hands to get the bags apart faster?

Some people use rubber finger cots. kind of like little rubber glove that fits the end of your finger. You can use on one or several fingers. Easy to put on, are reusable and cheep

I don't know what it's called, but bank tellers use it. It's a pink paste in a little container. Makes your fingers slightly tacky.

apply a little rubber cement to the finger tips....

There's a product called Tacky Finger. You can find it (or similar products with different names) at your local office supply store. Wall Mart carries it too.

Have a damped sponge near by and press your finger on it to get it moist and then try taking up the bags.

From one former bagger to another bagger: El Cheapo Lotion! I always kept a bottle of some type of lotion, preferrably non-greasy formula, with me when I was bagging. Not only did it help get the bags opened quickly, but it softened my hands as well as protecting them from the environment!
