You can't really answer your question. Im a nursing student and i know that my interest is working in critical care. Yes, being a nurse can bring you satisfaction in the fact that you live up to your obligation to help and make a difference in every patient/family you encounter. But really only you can know what would satisfy you more.... and where you would enjoy and feel your providing the best care possible. Satisfaction is in the eye of the beholder.......

Well you will be busy!!! A Nursing home will pay pay more for an LPN, it may hard finding a job in a hospital unless you specialize in something....

In a hospital setting, you are taking care of someone to get well. In a nursing home, it is a little depressing, you know what will happen to most of them. Ask yourself, what will give you more satisfaction in life and your career? After you answer this question, you will know which one to choose. Good luck!
