it was this reason people with less IQ are more suitable for assembly line job. as discipline is more important than intelligence

Its called mass production and meant to be very efficient. So the typical job tends to be highly repetetive and timed so when one piece is finished, along comes another to work on. Contrary to some opinions, factory labor (especially unions) are paid very well, often as high or higher than counterparts in, say administration. Of course, some factory jobs pay higher than others, but also require higher skill sets like chip sets or watches.
