How do I find medical research studies that are paying subjects to participate?

I keep hearing about these people at school who make some extra money on the side by participating in medical research studies but I cant figure out where to find them to sign up! Any ideas?

Depends on where you live. For instance if you live here in Pennsylvania, you can look on google for Penn State research participant. So just look for a teaching institution in your area, which here is Penn State's Milton Hershey Medical Center.
