How do I apply for a job at the United States Post Office?

I want to apply for a job at the post office. When I go online to the USPS website, I fill out the form to have an application or test sent to me. The thing is they never send me anything or call me at all. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Maybe I should just walk into an office and ask. Does anyone know of another way that I could apply?

I applied for the same thing, and it takes A LONG TIME for them to send you the test and packet, because they only test so many times a year. Get another job, wait for the packet to come, and then take the test. (It might be awhile.) If you pass, quit your job. If you don't, well, at least you have a job already. Good luck!

The most sure-fire way is to just go into an office and ask for an application.

I applied for a job at the post office by going on a website.They then give you a location where the test will be held.You go down there and take the test you also get extra points on the test if were in the Military and by other things too.God Speed.

You go to usps.com and click on jobs. Then, apply for exam. Now, there are many different kinds of exams so read what they are over. If you want a career position as a carrier or front desk among other positions, look for the 473 battery exam. They don't have the tests often so look every day, you never know when it'll be up.
