Is it difficult to get a job as a secretary or clerk in a school?

Is it difficult to get a job as a secretary or clerk in a school without any kind of work experience, but having some computer skills? Where is it more difficult to get this job: in a school or in an office? Somebody out there faced the same situation?

Yes it is more difficult to find employment in a school. The Board of Education has stricter guidelines when it comes to background checks. In addition, many of these jobs (even thought they don't say it) are come by who you know.
