Has anyone ever worked as a Community Relations Coordinator/Sales Manager for an Assisted Living Facility?

I have been offered a position and wanted to hear from others that have been in a sales position for upscale retirement homes or assisted living centers. Any information would be much appreciated.

I have not worked this job, but I know a few people who do this for a living. I am in Pharmaceutical Sales, and do run into these people in doctor's offices from time to time. The objective of their job is to get doctors to refer patients to their facility. These patients are obviously the elderly who are in need of assisted living at this point in their lives. Yes, it is a sales job, because they are evaluated based on how many referrals were received. Hope this answers your question.
