my friend wants to work on a real horse ranch in texas.?

But she doesn't know how to find a good one that needs help.She's always reading books about it and has been interested in trying the real thing. Kinda like working as a intern. So how does she go about finding a horse ranch with other workers, a good environment and things like that. Please give good answers because she really wants to know.

Perhaps with horse breeding?
