Im an Irish medical student I must do a medical attachment for 8 weeks next summer? Any ideas where?

Any ideas where would be a good hospital to do such an attachment, preferably in Europe or America or Canada. It must be for 8 weeks only.

Your best opportunity to learn may come from a big city like New York or Los Angeles. You'll see all sorts of trauma. There's a hospital in south central Los Angeles called Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center that routinely deals with gunshot trauma and domestic violence issues. I know it doesn't sound very nice, but you'll learn a lot in a place like that.
