Does anyone know how to go about becoming a pharmacy technician?

I just recently got a us greencard(work permit)and i have a foreign bachelor in pharmacy degree(5 years) from the university of lagos,i want to start off here in the us as a pharmacy technician before applying as a pharmacist,how do i go about it?

Oh, you shouldn't have a problem with that. You already have skills. Just apply to drugstores, local pharmacies, and hospitals directly, and have a resume typed up with your past education and/or work experience. I don't know how the process goes for citizenship and foreign degrees, but becoming a technician shouldn't be hard at all. Good luck : )

Start applying for jobs at some pharmacy. With your degree, you may already qualify for that position.

It depends on what state you live in. Try and apply to local pharmacies. Once you pass the FPGEE and TOEFL, you'll be able to work as a pharmacy graduate intern and make at least double the money a tech makes.
