Have you ever been an Assistant Manager for Barnes and Noble?

Well, they made me a good offer this afternoon, just over 30,000 a year. The store is smaller, no music or cafe.. I held a similar position at Borders seven or eight years ago. I quizzed the store manager and district manager. things look good, any advice?

depending on where you are 30k doesnt sound that great. the job sounds good though i love that store- ask if there is any room for negotiation- and try to up igt by two grand a year. i do it every time..... usually works.
