Montana Apprentice Electrician jobs?
Asked by Darth yogurt
I am fresh out of the Army and my wife and I want to move to Montana but we are stuck right now in Lawton Oklahoma (LOL). Anyways im 24 and served my time oversees. Everyone my hole life has told me I should become an electrician but ive always put it off till now. Basically I am having a hard time getting into an apprenticeship job program because it looks like no one want a fresh new apprentice.
I am taking college classes right now and I would love to work in Montana. Does anyone have any advice. Preferably Some Journeyman or even Master.
Thanks alot and God Bless.

I would make calls to IBEW offices near the cities in Montana where you want to move - and ask about the need for apprentices. I would try not to let them know that you have yet to move to Montana.
Some local's even have web sites:
Billings: http://ibew532.com/
Helena: http://www.ibew233.org/ and http://www.ibew206.com/
Butte: http://www.ibew44.org/
Right now the IBEW has 4 open jobs in Montana:
