I like home health care and working with veterans;?
Asked by hearts_and_thoughts_2003
what types of jobs could I focus toward to achieve those two basic criteria? I am already a home health aide but it doesn't pay enough and doesn't have benefits. I need to go back to school but am not sure what I want. I have thought of nursing or physical therapy also. What are some other possibilities?

Veteran's hospitals and Veteran's nursing homes everywhere need good nursing assistants. They pay well, have excellent benefits and will help you financially with school if you go into the nursing field. Consider it but be ready to work hard. Good luck

It is great you like working in home health and with veterans. It takes special people to do this type of job. Have you thought about being a recreation director? To become a physical therapist you need to get your masters degree. With your experience as a heatlh aide I would suggest something in the nursing field. My hats off to you for liking this field. Take Care and Good Luck
