How possible starting a career in hospitality with a biology degree?
Asked by Florence L
I'm pursuing a B.S in biology and I'll be done by next year. However, I have a huge interest working in the resorts/ hospitality type of work. This is based on I have 2 years of food service/ customer service experience. How possible and how can I jump start myself?

Best Answer:
You don't actually need a degree to work in hospitally.

I think, since you don't have any experience in the hospitality industry you will need to start low. How good are you with typing, computer programs, filing, etc? Maybe you can start as an assistant or a front desk agent. If they have a restaurant on-site then you can also apply as a waiter.
