I would like to work for an attorney, in the Boston area or north of there?
Asked by Jules4
I really don't like my job and I am starting think it would interest me to work for an attorney or small local practice. How can I find a job working for a lawyer? I am not a paralegal or anything but I am a GOOD worker and I think that I would prefer it to what I'm doing now.
How do I find a good temp agency? I'm looking for the best one, or even a small one that will be able to place me with a great law firm or private practice.

Do you have secretarial experience? If so, apply for an entry-level legal secretary job (since you don't have any legal experience at all, this seems like the type of job that would be offered)...if you can't find anything, have you thought about getting a position through a temporary employment agency? They have many that staff strictly legal-related jobs.

Like the first poster said, apply for a secretarial job. Then, after you learn some stuff you can possibly move up to a semi-paralegal type job. Good luck.
