How do you explain in a paragraph why you want to work for a call center?
Asked by Honey0803
I am applying for a customr service job. I have worked for this company before....years ago but they closed and has now reopened. I loved the job when I was there but now although they have the same name and are a call center, they are not doing they same job. They were a call center for GTE phone service, now they do customer service for insurance companies.

You are the only person EVER I've heard who actually enjoys the call center stuff. But that's cool.
Just be informal (but not too much) and write what you feel. It should be a refreshing change for them from all the blah blah responses.
And if it doesn't work they didn't deserve you anyways.

Oh my God!!! Run away from that job as fast as you can. I took a job at UPS call center out of desperation. Now I've been there over 5 years and I feel like I'm stuck. Don't do it. DO ANYTHING ELSE BUT CALL CENTER WORK.
I am so sick of people calling and yelling at me and cussing me out because their stupid package is late. I'm warning you now. Go flip hamburgers. Go sack groceries. Go back to college and get your masters degree in astronomy. I will be the first in line to say "I told you so" if you take this job and then quit it in 2 months because you're tired of the people on the phone.
And I feel like this just for inbound calls. Just imagine if I worked at a telemarketer.
Or, it could just be UPS. NOT a good company to work for.
