in Florida where I live [where are you?], LPN programs are run by the county school boards. They are about one school year long if you go full time.
RN in Florida is a minimum two year program and is run by the community colleges.
BSN in Florida is a four year program and is offered by the state colleges and universities.
MSN is, I believe, two more years on top of BSN. Probably available only in major cities from the bigger universities.
does this help?

LPN is a good choice to start with, then you can take on-line courses to become a RN. The school is usually one year, covers everything from anatomy, injections, pharmacology to making beds and giving bed baths. Where
I live the LPN can no longer start IV's nor take care of "unit" pts. I have worked with LPN's that were better nurses than some of the RN's I have worked with. Not everyone wants to become a RN.
I do hope you decide to go into the medical field. It is a very rewarding career.
Good Luck!
