should i quit my job to be a restaurant server?
Asked by mrfly07
Im making 12.98 per hour and im starting to hate it. Should i quit my current job to be a server in an upscale restaurant? The thing kinda stop me is the benifits from my current job, like medical and dental insurance but other than that i dont like it. where would i make more money?

Best Answer:
depends on how good your current benefits are and how much/often you need them ... good medical coverage can be pricey ... you should get some quotes for independent coverage to compare the cost savings. It will also depend on the kind of restaurant you work at ... some nicer ones will have better tips ...

Servers make really good money, but the benefits mean alot.. Are you sure the restaurant doesnt offer benefits? Alot of them do! Maybe you could try both jobs for a couple of weeks to see which one your more excited about when its time to go to work and let that help you decide!

you are making 2076.80 per month should you work for 8hrs and 20days. but i prefer you to study your need of money rather than how much you hate your job. comparing to me, i have been 6yrs handling customer service and suffer lots of arguments with customer. but since my need of money is quite high so i relatively have less option to change job. well think carefully my friend.
