Hello, I am starting all over again and I am a 20s student. MY Question is what are some Secure Occupations with Benefits Other than Nursing and Clerical??---- Occupation that best qualifies gets best answer.

Job security is a myth in large part. What may be secure today could be gone tomorrow due to automation and outsourcing. One of the most secure jobs is delivery services. No matter how technologically advanced we get, we'll always need somebody to physically take something to another location.

What about management? I'm in financial services for a large insurance company and it is VERY stable. Human Resources is always a good route to go also.

Work for your state. My husband is a prision gaurd and the benifits almost out weigh the pay.

Electricity- in the US most everyone (with a few exceptions of the "reduce the carbon footprint" people) uses electricity. You could study to be an electrician. Best wishes!

Human Services there are lots of jobs in this Field such as Case Managers, Protective Services, Visiting Supervisors, Court Visitors, and more. State Jobs with very good benefits.
