What's a reasonable payment suggestion for a babysitter?

We pay our daytime nanny/sitter around $50 US for 8 hours. Cash. However, we pay the same nanny $50 for 4 Hours if it is an evening out or something.

In the midwest of the US the going rate is more like $5 an hour (for up to 2 kids) and about $8 an hour for 3 or so. That may be low because the cost of living here is much lower than the east or west coast.
Given your first aid training, you could probably ask for more as that makes you more qualified.

It depends on how many kids at one time you will be watching. If I was going to hire a baby sitter to watch my kid at night while I went out I would pay about 10usdollars/hr. I only have one kid. Lets say I had three.... I would pay 30US dollars/hr... so 10 US dollars per kid.
