I am a B.Com graduate and wish to persue a career in Software Testing. Are there any chances of getting a job?

For a B.Com graduate are there any chances of getting a job in Software Testing.
Please advice as I am really serious in this, and want to enter the IT field.

yes there are chances for you to get into the software industry.but if i have to tell u the fact ..people dont consider a candidate having commerce background..they will look for people from computers background ore even science background and engineers are of course preferred better.
my sincere suggestion to u is, do a Pg in some computer science course like an MCA(3yrs) or Msc computers(2years). after that u can go for employment in the software industry..then u can even have better options than Testing..

On completion of BCA/MCA or any other equivalent course you can get into the job of software testing,subject to your competence.
There is ever so many chances for commerce graduate .Post graduation is an added advantage.

sorry ,I am puzzled in studying in this field ,I want some advice too.I am a Chinese, want to study software in India,but i have no idea on the schools ,can you help me ?I will graduate from one university in 2008.
