Any ideas how to keep on task while working at home typing?
Asked by Ggirl99
I seem to loose attention while typing after 30-45 minutes, I tried coffee, tea, etc... but just feel worn out. This is a full-time (32 hrs week) job, so I gotta keep typin' lol. Any ideas on how to keep my focus or keep it more like working at a company?

Hire someone to yell and whine about how you are always off-task hey it might work

I work from home and I tend to get tired after a while, so I take a break for a few minutes. Taking a short walk outside when I can helps to relieve the back and neck tension. I also like to switch tasks for a few minutes at a time just to keep from going "stale" on the typing aspect. If you are doing a lot of typing on your computer, get up and stretch your arms and legs a bit, your body needs the break even if your brain doesn't. Good rule of thumb to remember is for every 40 minutes of typing take a 10 minute break , for your eyesight and your body and your sanity. You'll be able to type more comfortably and keep yourself on task.

Make your home space more like work. Get up shower get dressed. Sit at the computer and set goals like i will work for an hr then take a break. It is easy to get distracted at home and start doing dishes etc. Clear the area and make it more like a work space or if you have the room make a room for you to work in
