NEW Civil Engineering Manager?
Asked by Ohio
I am accepting a job as a civil engineer manager (Geotechnical). It will be a new job and It will be the first time for me to become a manager. I did some management before but not in full capacity. What would be the best approach to be more professional and to be a good manager in a short time. Do you suggest any books? Do you recommend focusing on certain aspects of the management and get skilled in them first? Any advices for new managers. Thanks.
