hi i am working as networking engineer and i want to go for ORACLE DBA,can any body give advice regarding.How vl be the career and job oppurtunites on this

It covers all organization using database i.e.airlines to automobile to banking industry, all software industries come under it. If you pass ORACLE DBA papers i.e.OCP than certainly u have a point to prove and you can opportunity in ORACLE Corp also. Frankly there is no stopping after that

Being a database administrator is a totally different field than network engineering. You need years of formal training and on-the-job experience ( as a DBA ). Since there are a lot of companies using ORACLE worldwide, there are many opportunities for experienced ORACLE DBAs.
