Underwater welder?

im currently working as a panelbeater but i dont want to do it forever and im still young enough to change my career, i would like to become an underwater welder working on rigs i know it involves alot of training and costs alot of money, were is the best place to do this training. also i have no prob welding in the dry because i weld everyday in my job and im a very strong swimmer will this help? Also i am moving to oz in 2008 would that make things difficult.

Underwater center at Fort William they do all diving and allied courses, also just do a search they have all the courses and costs online.

i told my school careers advisor that i wanted to be a flag pole painter or an underwater wood welder, she disaproved and i fix phonelines, does this help...?
