does anyone have any good tips on being a good and quick dishwasher in a restaurant that has alot of business?

i recently got a job in a restaurant as a dishwasher but there is alot of customers that come in and out and i really want to stay cause my friend got me in and im already making friends. does anone have any tips?
i don't have that much time to prove myself. i started Thursday and worked two shifts already. i have left another 3 shifts

Who cares how you wash dishes,its your attitude that matters,tell your customers this joke while your picking up your dirty dishes...If a waitress with boobs works at Hooters,where does a one-legged waitress work?...............IHOP................

I was a dishwasher at a restaurant about 30 years ago.
You must work efficiently and quickly. You will be able to work very quickly as you gain experience. Figure out the most efficient way of doing your job. Minimum # of steps. Stay on top of your work when you get busy,don't fall behind. It will be difficult to get caught up if you do in the beginning when you work slower.
