Move to a new place without a job?

Is it crazy to move to a new place without having a job? I have been searching for a job, so I can start working as soon as I move to the new area, but no luck. Is it because many employers think it's possible that I might be moving to else where and they get turned off that "I'm going to move here soon." I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.

i have dont that many a time. its hard to get a job when you live in a diff place and cant give them a date/time of moving but its also hard to get a job when you dont have one. although relocation is a legitimate excuse '' '' for not being employed. i say do what feels right and move regardless of if you have a job to go too or not, but keep looking and once you can give them a date they may be more eager to hire you

You've moved and you like the area for your own reasons? If yes then keep searching for that job. No luck? Start your own business. -Online - such as advertising and using an MLM system. -Rent/ buy a shop and satr with the business! Dont rely on only searching for a job. You can email me to find out more.

It may be a reason, my friend moved to Florida without a job because he couldn't find one before he got there. He still doesn't have a job and he has been there since August. He has a little bartending job to help pay little bills but thats all he has been able to find. So he is probably moving back to his home town now. It's tough moving and getting a new job. Good luck!

Maybe you just answered your own question, move there first so they know they can count on you. Second, you could get a job that you are overly qualified for to pay the bills until you get the job you really want. Have you tried looking for a place yet? That can be a huge challenge too, so you may want to have a place lined up and look for a job at the same time. Won't be easy but could be worth it, good luck!
