Misanthrope
Am I lucky to have my job?
Asked by Misanthrope
I have been turned down for a promotion because I was a disabled vet. I have been called a slave and made to "jump through hoops". I watch as a total idiot gets raises and praises for decorating as I have to maintain what makes the place work. Some people say I am lucky to have a job; but I say I need to find another job. I need a better job right?

They can't turn you down for a promotion because of your disability, unless that disability would prevent you from doing the job. If you were truly qualified, and were passed over solely because of your disability, you might have a legal case against your employer. But you'll have to be able to prove that was the reason. Other than that, start looking around. If you're a good worker, there are people out there looking for you right now. Happy New Year!

Totally. Find a job where your talents will be appreciated. Don't quit before you find one though. Happy job hunting!

(hint) My 12 year old daughter made 100 dollars in a week -------------- Or.... 1) Make a website 2) Go to google and put advertisment on it 3) When a person clicks on an advertisment, you get paid
