Can i be a letter carrier with a new driver's license?

I am 22 years old and am absolutely ready to get a career going. Right now i am striving to get my GED and driver's license want to apply to be a mail carrier as soon as possible. I am of above average intellect and can dominate any test but I have no (legal) driving record. Do i have a chance? If not reccomend something else please!

No you need a driver license to be a letter carrier with a clean driving record what you can do is apply at usps.com for your state and take the test and try to get a job as a mail handler or mail proccessor in the post office you dont need to drive to do those position but mail carrier yes because you have to drive but you dont have to have any driving experience as long as your record is clean and the license is valid
