What sort of volunteer organization should i be joining with a computer information systems major?

I'm currently a freshman at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. My major is Computer Information Systems and now I'm enjoying my Winter Break. What kind of volunteer organizations or what kind of jobs should I be looking for? I have no previous job experiences and i only want to work for something that will help my future for Computer Information Systems degree.

There should be clubs at your college that you can join. Try looking for jobs like computer operator, operations analysis ect. Be sure to get some type of experience. It took me 2 yrs. after i graduated to get a job within the field. It's good that you are a freshman because you have time. Good luck!
