How easy is it for an engineering major to get a job after graduation?
Asked by XINIO654-THE NOLDOR GAYTHEIST
I'm a freshman chem engineering major and I just wanted to know if it's going to be hard for me to get a job when I graduate in four years. Does anyone have tips on what I can do to enhance my resume? I'm trying to look for internships but they seem so difficult for a freshman to get. Should i just get an ordinary summer job? What should I do???

If you have the experience then you will get a job. If you can't get an internship try to get some job related to your chemical engineering over the summer. Even if it's not what you expected. You can also go on a foreign exchange over the summer even if its not particularly related. Try to get experience. Even if you can't get an internship or a foreign exchange you can become a summer camp counselor at an engineering camp for kids. Or you could see how chemical engineering touches on various industries by trying out various industries. Have a fun summer! I hoped this helped.
