Live below your means. Make saving part of your budget; plan to save a percentage of your pay (20-30% if you can). If there's no money left over after paying bills, scale-back your lifestyle and spending habits. New cars, cell phones, cable tv, internet, magazine subscriptions are nice to have, but not necessities. Do without a few luxuries now so you'll have more in the future.
