Could I use a degree in Criminal Justice to be a crime scene investigator?

Maybe, but if you don't have the degree yet, I suggest switching to the more appropriate Forensic Science degree with a Criminology specialization. Criminal Justice is too broad to include all of the specific forensic knowledge that is absolutely necessary before they let you anywhere near a crime scene. And make sure it's a Bachelor of Science degree and not a Bachelor of Arts, which will focus mainly on the psychology and philosophy of the justice system. Good luck!
