Is a one year full-time animal care program in college worth it?

It depends on what you want to do with animals. Personally, I think it would probably be a lot of fun, and help you decide what you would enjoy doing if you want to work with animals. Hey, it's only one year, right? After you get some experience working with animals and learning their different personalities, and how to handle them, there are loads of things you can go on to study for. Maybe you should be a cat groomer! That's a field with a lot of openings in it right now, as a lot of people are keeping their cats indoors full-time, but don't have the time to keep them clean.
