Asked by mimi26
I have studied Economics, but did n`t get Bachelor degree ( 2 more semesters left) because i moved to USA and started college here. Now I am in the last semester of getting associates in Business administration. However i have no work experience and I have no idea how to make a decent resume if i have no related experience(even no volunteer work) How to start ? Does anyone been here and how did you break this vicious circle?
i currently live in study in Saint Louis

My suggesting is to start addressing this right away. You can ask your professors if they can suggest places you may get experience, paid or volunteer. On your resume, include all that you have done-I think it is fine to list projects or papers you did in school, relevant to the work you want to do. Also anything you have done that illustrates your leadership or management abilities. Check with organizations you may like to work for and ask if they have internship programs for students. Join a professional organization or student organization in your field.
If you are not able to find anything, don't worry. Do the best resume you can. People will understand that you are coming right from school.
Good luck!

For resume writing tips, I used GigTide.com in the past. It has a cool resume tracking feature and dashboard, too.
