im actually a medical assistant/phlebotomist. I took training in that program. Alot of hospitals and labs will do on the job training. Also, local technical schools/community colleges offer courses to learn and get certified. The classes usually are only a semester and alot of times are at night. Phlebotomy is a great skill to have. You can use it in a lot of different settings........clinics, hosp, drs office, health dept, independent labs, nursing homes...........I would encourage you to pursue it. As for the crying, etc......its not as bad as you think. Children are actually better behaved than most adults. Good Luck!

Most likely, you'd be trained as a Medical Assistant. You're the person who gets to inject the needle into the person's arm,so you better do your research and find that vein.
