How much does a dietary aide working in a nursing home make?

My aunt is a dietary aide for a Sentara run nursing home facility. She makes roughly around $8/hr. in Virginia.

i was a dietary aide when i was 16. I made $6.63 an hour. But this was when i was in high school making minimum wage. (it was 2 years ago.) this was in wisconsin
