How can I go about finding a good mentor for my career?
Asked by Dewdrop S
I sell new homes, and would like to find a good mentor. Also, my husband owns his own Landscaping Business and would also like a mentor...any good referrals to websites or businesses?

Start with the people you work with. They can be your bese asset. Look for people who have done the same thing for a living and talk with them. Check into the local Better Business Bureau's website, they have info there. Check with the local community colleges.

Have you tried contacting the local chamber of commerce or networking within a church or even placing an ad in the paper? Whenever you meet someone new, always make it a point to "sell" yourself - your bank teller, convenience store clerk, etc. Word of mouth gets around!!@!!
