Most offshore rigs and the boats that service them, have their own employees working the kitchens and galleys. Check with BP or ask around the port to see what companies are operating rigs and crew boats... then find them and apply for a job. Those are very good jobs. A cook on a drilling rig or a jack up boat can make $200 to $300 a day... the only problem is the hours..
